The Foundation supports programs which meet a significant need within the community through
entrepreneurial & innovative programs that provides a “hand-up” rather than “hand-out”. We look
favorably upon collaboration and cooperation with other organizations working together.
Grants will be allocated only to registered charitable organizations as identified by Canada Revenue Agency. The Foundation will provide grants focused on the Calgary region unless otherwise determined by the Board of Trustees.

Those seeking funding may submit the following on-line application form. The deadline for applications is October 30th each year. Only those receiving grants will be notified in the mail by mid-December of the granting year.

Even if your project meets the basic criteria, it will most certainly be competing with other very worthwhile community project. In any given year, and with the limited funds that may be available to the Foundation due to multi-year commitments, a project may be declined.
Funding decisions are typically made in later part of November. Only those receiving grants will be notified in the mail by mid-December of the granting year.
An email to the website is the best way to make an enquiry. We will make our best effort to answer your questions. As a small family operation, we prefer to receive information on your project and then determine if a meeting would be helpful.
